Custom Non-Stop Splicer & Rewinder Configurations for Your Production Line
Splice and rewind requirements depend on your press model, web width, running speed, and roll change frequency. GGIN non-stop splicer and rewinder systems are configured to integrate with your existing printing or converting line, with splice accuracy, tension stability, and control system compatibility all confirmed before order.
Both narrow-web and mid-web configurations are available.
Industries and Applications Served by GGIN Non-Stop Splicer & Rewinder Systems
Supporting equipment requirements depend on your primary machinery, web handling challenges, and production floor layout. GGIN auxiliary equipment — including roll handling systems, web guiding units, corona treatment equipment, inspection rewinders, and core handling solutions — is selected and configured to integrate with your existing production line rather than supplied as generic off-the-shelf items.
Equipment specifications, integration requirements, and mounting configurations are confirmed during a pre-order technical review with your team. Each unit undergoes functional testing before shipment. Installation support is provided as standard with every order.

Compatible Substrate Materials for GGIN Printing & Converting Equipment

PET — Polyester Film
PET polyester film delivers superior tensile strength, heat resistance, and optical clarity compared to most other flexible substrates, making it the preferred material for premium label applications and industrial packaging. Its high surface energy ensures consistent ink adhesion in flexographic and screen printing processes, while its dimensional stability at elevated temperatures supports high-speed converting without registration drift.
GGIN machines process PET film for applications including electronics labels, automotive components, chemical drum identification, retort pouch printing, and high-barrier flexible packaging where durability and print quality must be maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

BOPP — Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film
BOPP is the standard substrate for transparent label stock, snack food packaging, adhesive tape base film, and cigarette overwrap — applications that collectively represent some of the highest-volume converting operations in the global packaging industry. Its biaxial orientation process delivers a combination of high tensile strength, excellent moisture barrier properties, and exceptional optical clarity that makes it suitable for both primary label decoration and functional packaging structures.
GGIN flexographic printing machines and slitting rewinders are configured to process BOPP film at high production speeds, with tension control and unwind braking systems optimized for the low-elongation characteristics of oriented film substrates.

PE — Polyethylene Film
Polyethylene film — available in LDPE, HDPE, and LLDPE grades — is the dominant substrate in flexible packaging for its combination of flexibility, chemical resistance, and low cost. It is widely converted for bread bags, produce packaging, shrink bundling film, courier mailer bags, and agricultural films.
PE presents specific processing challenges including low surface tension and susceptibility to stretching under tension — both of which are managed by the servo tension control systems integrated into GGIN slitting rewinder and flexographic printing machines. Our equipment handles PE film from 20 microns upward, with web tension profiles configured to your specific film grade and converting speed requirements.

PP — Polypropylene Film
Polypropylene film is one of the most widely used synthetic substrates in label converting and flexible packaging production. Available in white, clear, and matte finishes, PP offers excellent dimensional stability, moisture resistance, and printability across water-based, UV, and solvent ink systems.
GGIN printing and converting machines process PP film in web widths from 250mm to 530mm, supporting label applications in food & beverage, personal care, household chemicals, and pharmaceutical packaging — where conformability and long-term adhesion on curved surfaces are critical requirements.
